Abstract:
To provide an entrance/exit control system capable of surely reading the contents of information even if it is recorded in a different formal without performing operation to select the formal of an ID card.
A kind of the ID card used by a user is discriminated by preliminarily storing characteristic parts regarding each of the plural ID cards 2 with different formats in a memory 10 by every formal and collating them when the ID cards 2 are read. And when a 'corporate code (section code)', 'personal ID information' and 'sex' in the discriminated kind of ID card are preliminarily stored in the memory 10, an electric lock 4 is unlocked.
