Abstract:
PURPOSE:To update control tables synchronously without interrupting online service, by inhibiting the control tables from being referred to through online processing during control table update processing. CONSTITUTION:In an online information processing system which has control data, used in common for information processing, as primary, secondary and tertiary control tables 1; 2-1 and 2-2; 3-1 and 3-2 in a memory, a table update start command 6-0 is inputted first prior to the modification of the control tables and an FF7 is set by table update processing 5' to turn off and on gates 8 and 9 respectively, thereby inhibiting each control table from being referred to by online processing 4. After the control tables are modified as necessary, a table update end command 6-4 is inputted to reset the FF7 by table update processing 5', thus releasing inhibition for each control table from reference to online processing 4.
