PURPOSE: To provide a switch easy to operate with favourable workability in a control of a transmission making an operational range of a shift lever by way of carrying out range shifting of a range change part electrically by the switch.

CONSTITUTION: In a control of a transmission, a main speed change part and a-range change part are arranged, range shifting of the range change part is carried out by operation of a first switch 54, changeover of a high speed low speed changeover part is carried out by operation of a second switch, the second switch is installed on the side part of a shift lever knob 51, the first switch is built in the shift lever knob 51, and by vertical movement of the shift lever knob 51, the first switch is opened and closed.
