The control type radial magnetic bearing is comprised so that magnetic flux density by a plurality of electromagnetic poles M1-M12 arranged in the same position in an axial direction of a rotor 1 and with predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction of the rotor 1 is gradually changed in the circumferential direction of the rotor 1. It is composed so that change between adjacent electromagnetic poles is small and smooth even when there is a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of the magnetic flux.
