Abstract:
To execute a function of operating a power source only when the temperature of the power source is within a more suitable range by executing a function of operating the power source when an output value of a temperature sensor is within a first range deviating from a second range according to the deviation between the output value of the temperature sensor and a true value of the temperature of the power source.SOLUTION: A control unit for an aerosol generation device comprises: a sensor which outputs a value about the temperature of a lithium ion secondary battery being a power source that is chargeable and can discharge electricity to a load that atomizes an aerosol source; and a control unit which is configured to execute one or more functions operating the power source when the output value of the sensor belongs to a first range having a first upper limit and a first lower limit. The first upper limit is smaller than a second upper limit of a second range having the second upper limit and a second lower limit, and the first lower limit is equal to or greater than the second lower limit. At least one of an absolute value of a difference between the two upper limits and an absolute value of a difference between the two lower limits is equal to or greater than the maximum value of an error in the output value relative to the input value of the sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
