Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate defects related to play, friction, rattling noise, etc., and eliminate the machining process of an input shaft, embrittlement of materials related thereto, and ball component groups by arranging an element having one end fixed to the input shaft and the other end fixed to a reaction piston, being strong in torsion, and having elasticity in the axial direction in a control valve.
CONSTITUTION: A control valve 1 has an input shaft 2 and an output shaft 3 connected mutually by a torsional bar 4 and a valve cylinder 5 surrounding the input shaft 2. These components are arranged in a housing using bearings 6. A metal bellows 13 inserted as an element strong in the torsion and elastic in the axial direction is fixed to the input shaft 2 in a fixing point 14. The metal bellows 13 is fixed to a reaction piston 8 in the other end. The sealing is thus eliminated. The input shaft 2 is not weakened neither by a longitudinal groove nor by a groove for a holding ring. This structure has completely no play so as to be adjustable.
