PURPOSE: To detect and correct distortions of patterns generated in both of weft and warp by arranging an operator so as to corresponding fabric areas for locally correcting distortions of patterns detected with a photoelectron reader.

CONSTITUTION: This correcting device detects a distortion of a pattern from a reference patter by a photoelectron reader 3 crossing a proceeding direction of a fabric T and extending with the same length as a breadth of the fabric and sends a control signal to a servomotor of a coaxial rotating members 9, 10, 11 and so forth, N-2, N-1 and N to transfer each region of the fabric and locally correct the distortion of the pattern.
