Abstract:

To provide a substituent apparatus of a comparatively low cost in order to discharge a chemical additive into a fluid system at a fixed speed which requires minimum human intervention.

The apparatus for discharging the chemical additive 7 into a fluid material which is selected from a lubricant composition or an operation liquid composition, e.g., a container 1 includes: a fluid material non-permeable casing 3 which has a hollow interior; and the additive composition 7 which contains at least one fluid material soluble additive. The additive 7 is held in the container 1 by at least one fluid material permeable element 11 which is installed at the opening 13 of the casing 3 or in its vicinity, and effective for providing the discharge of the additive 7 into the fluid material. In addition, a method for discharging the additive 7 into the fluid material is provided.
