Title:
CONTROLLED POTENTIAL ELECTROLYTIC SENSOR AND GAS DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3846969
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlled potential electrolytic sensor and a gas detector rarely generating gas detection errors caused by various gases.
SOLUTION: A working electrode 13 allowing the detected gas to chemically react, a counter electrode 14 for the working electrode 13, and a reference electrode 15 controlling the potential of the working electrode 13 are provided in an electrolytic bath 12 storing an electrolyte. The working electrode 13 is provided with at least one kind of a reaction catalyst selected from platinum, gold, and palladium, and the reference electrode 15 is formed with a material mainly made of silver.
