Abstract:
To prevent an electrolytic solution filled inside a sensor case from leaking when a sulfuric acid of the electrolytic solution absorbs moisture of an outside atmosphere to increase a volume, thereby causing a seal part to be irresistible when a controlled potential electrolytic type gas sensor is manufactured.
A working electrode, a counter electrode, a reference electrode, an electrolytic solution, a porous electrolytic solution-holding body and a gas permeable diaphragm are set inside a case of the controlled potential electrolytic type gas sensor. A sulfuric acid is used as the electrolytic solution. A space part which can absorb an increase of the electrolytic solution is formed inside the case.
