Abstract:
To obtain a controlled-release composition for oral administration, remarkably improved in persistence of a blood level of an imidazole derivative having steroid C17,20 lyase inhibiting activity.
This controlled-release composition for the oral administration contains a bioactive substance and a hydrophilic polymer, wherein the bioactive substance comprises a compound expressed by formula (I)-A (Ar is an aromatic ring which may be substituted; and (n) is an integer of 1 to 3) or its salt. Further, the controlled-release composition for the oral administration is formed by coating a core containing the bioactive substance with a coat layer containing the polymer.
