PURPOSE: To obtain a controller of an air conditioner that is provided with an operating circuit for putting out operational set signals, a temperature detecting circuit for putting out temperature signals, a processor for processing said signals and information containing fixed information and both information and a relay circuit for controlling operation in response to the signals of the processor and its constitution is simple.
CONSTITUTION: A processor μP equipped with a random access memory RAM, a read-only memory ROM and a signal processing unit CPU functions by pulses from a clock-pulse generator PG. The set signals of an operating circuit OP and signals from a temperature detecting circuit TD and given as information. Control operation is performed by the information, the fixed information of the memory ROM and the rewriting-possible information of the memory RAM. The temperature detecting circuit TD generates output corresponding to the results of comparison between a set point of a variable resistor VR and the detecting value of a thermistor TH. The processor μP affords the output of operational results to a relay circuit RY to control a fan and a compressor.
