Title:
CONTROLLER FOR ATTITUDE OF VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02220908
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve braking performance and acceleration by providing an anti-dive and squat system and a caster control system in the titled device for automobile and the like, enlarging a caster upon anti-dive control and making it small upon anti-squat control.

CONSTITUTION: When a sensor 4 detects the sink of the front part of a vehicle body due to the abrupt brake upon straight advancement, a controller 5 controls an attitude control valve 6, increases the air pressure of the air spring 8 of a suspension 19 at a front side and lowers the air pressure of the air spring of a suspension at a rear side to have a horizontal position. Upon abrupt start, above mentioned members are reversely operated to obtain the horizontal state. In accordance with this attitude control, the pressure of the first and the second chambers 16a 16b of a caster variable actuator 15 is changed, therefore, an actuating shaft 18 is horizontally moved to change the caster. That is, upon anti-dive, it is increased and upon anti-squat, it is decreased. According to this constitution, braking performance and acceleration are improved.
