Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for automatic transmission for vehicle capable of obtaining shift responsiveness even when it is judged that multiple shift is done.
SOLUTION: When it is judged that rotation synchronization of a brake B1 is completed by a rotation synchronization judging means 148 and it is judged that a vehicle condition is in such condition that multiple shift is expected by a multiple gear shift expected condition judging means 146, engaging pressure of the brake is speedily increased by a pressure raising means 150, and hydraulic oil is speedily filled in an accumulator connected with the brake. For this reason, when it is judged that multiple shift releasing the brake and engaging a clutch is done during a period of shift to a gear step achieved by the engagement of the brake, it is possible to control a rise of hydraulic oil from the brake which becomes a release side or engaging pressure of the clutch which becomes an engagement side with respect to its pressure, and sufficient shift responsiveness is obtained without causing a shift shock.
