A feed pressure estimating part 40 estimates the feed pressure Pi supplied to a friction coupling element based on the shift state of the transmission and the target feed pressure Pc. A sample data storage part 41 stores the input torque Ti and the feed pressure Pi at the start of shifting and updates the input torque and the feed pressure sequentially. A target feed pressure calculation part 44 sets the target feed pressure Pc by correcting the basic feed pressure Po set based on the input torque Ti using the correction constants ac, bc set based on the input torque Ti and the feed pressure Pi stored in the sample data storage part 41. A data update determination treatment part 42 stops the accumulation of the input torque Ti and the feed pressure Pi this time when the variation of the speed reduction ratio ε at the start of shifting and thereafter exceeds one of the preset determination values SL1, SL2.
