Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an entire controller for a DC motor by enabling to control a plurality of motors of different capacity with one thyristor Leonard. CONSTITUTION:A power source voltage supplied from a 3-phase AC power source 7 is converted into a direct current via a thyristor Leonard 8 composed in a bridge, and is supplied to DC motors 9, 10. A DCCT11 and electromagnetic contactors 12, 13 are provided in a supply passage of the DC current, which is supplied through the DCCT11 and the contactors 12, 13 to the respective motors 9, 10, and the number of turns of main circuit lines passing through the DCCT11 can be varied in response to the capacity of using motors 9, 10. Accordingly, when the number of turns of the DCCT11 is suitably selected in response to the armature current of the motor, the current feedback signal applied to a control circuit 14 can be made equal at the time of controlling the rated armature currents of the respective motors.
