Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a door opening/closing device for vehicles in which an abrupt operation of a door can be prevented more reliably even by using a mechanical clutch.SOLUTION: While an automatic opening/closing operation of a slide door is being performed, when a stop command is issued to stop the door, in a first operation range where connection between a drive shaft and a driven shaft is obtained when a motor's driving force is generated by a clutch, which is equivalent to an applied load on the door side, the stop of the door is achieved through the connection of the clutch by generating a motor's driving force that balances applied load (first door stop control). In a second operation range where the clutch cannot maintain connection between the drive shaft and the driven shaft by a motor's driving force equivalent to an applied load, the apparent stop of the door is achieved by performing slight door opening/closing operation by repeating motor reverse drive while connection between the drive shaft and the driven shaft is achieved by the motor driving force (second door stop control).
