PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive sound stopping method for an end informing sound which can be operated easily, and also, scarcely causes a misoperation in the case the end informing sound is unnecessary in an electronic controller for a clothes drier and a washing machine, etc., for domestic use.
CONSTITUTION: The subject controller is constituted of a controller 2 consisting of an operation display circuit 20 and a control circuit 21 connected between lines of an AC power source 1, a power source switching means 3, and an informing means 6, and an inexpensive method for controlling easily the informing means which can execute a sounding stop of an end informing sound, or on the contrary, can return the sounding stop to its origin by an operation for pushing continuously a push-button of the power source switching means 3 and an operation start switch of the operation display circuit 20 for several seconds can be realized.
