Abstract:
PURPOSE:To inhibit overcurrents by the application of AC power from a stringing and by reapplication after interruption by mounting a voltage detector, which compares the terminal voltage of a capacitor and a reference voltage and switches a contactor. CONSTITUTION:When power supply is stopped during the power running of an electric rolling stock, operation is continued while using the charges of a capacitor C as a power supply. When capacitor voltage is made lower than a reference value, a contactor K is opened while a converter control circuit CC and an inverter control circuit IC are stopped. When the service-interrupting power supply is reapplied, a main transformer T is pressed, and the capacitor C is charged through a resistor R and a reactor L and diodes D1-D4 for a converter circuit CN. When the voltage of the capacitor C is made higher than the reference value, the contactor K is closed while the converter circuit CN and an inverter circuit IN are restarted, thus supplying an induction motor IM with power.
