Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent serious accident such as bodily injury by stopping an elevator when a soft string of small cross section and the like is run while it straddles over a cage door and a landing door.
CONSTITUTION: A safety shoe 1 which is hung by a pair of links 7a, 7b on the front end of a door 4 guided by a threshold 5, is provided so that it is freely moved at least forward and backward, and the running operation of a cage is stopped by letting a microswitch 2 work, which works at least by receding operation or rotational operation of the safety shoe 1.
