Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for entrance to curves capable of reducing a sense of incongruity to a driver of a vehicle by preventing erroneous alarm and erroneous deceleration caused by erroneous recognition of a driver's vehicle running line in a navigation device at a branch point between a main road and a flowage road.
SOLUTION: In the controller for entrance to curves, a front road attribute operation and storage part 24 discriminates whether a node on a set route is the node indicating a offshoot from the main road or not. A control execution decision part 31 examines whether the probability that the vehicle has run straight against the set route and a navigation device 11 erroneously recognizes the vehicle running line after passing a branch node is high or not in accordance with an actual yaw rate for passage of the branch node between the main road and the offshoot, and the decision part 31 indicates temporary inhibition of alarm control and deceleration control when the probability is high.
