Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption in traveling by enabling sufficient running-in of an engine just after shipping without increasing the number of parts and assembling man-hours.
SOLUTION: A controller 22 controls an electronic governor 14 for driving a control rack 13 of a fuel injection pump 12. The specified value in the range of 80 to 90% of the full rack position of the control rack 13 is stored as the maximum regulating position of the control rack 13 in a memory 23 of the controller 22, and the specified value in the range of 2.0 to 3.0% of the full rack position is stored as one step. The controler 22 calculates the acceleration exceeding frequency exceeding the depressing amount of an accelerator pedal 16 corresponding to the maximum regulating position in the specified time for each specified time, the maximum regulating position is raised by one step for each specified time according to the acceleration exceeding frequency, and the maximum regulating position is maintained or the maximum regulating position is lowered by one step.
