Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the controller of a glass forming machine precise and rich in degrees of freedom by collectively controlling the pressing speed and pressing position as well as the pressing force of a mold.
CONSTITUTION: A driving shaft 15 is rotated by a motor 11, and a movable die 17 is pressed on a fixed diw 27 to form a heated and melted vitreous material W into an optional shape by a glass forming machine 1 through the controller 3. The controller consists of an operation display part 33 for setting the moving position, speed, pressing pressure, temp., etc., of the die 17, a program storage part 35 storing a forming program for successively preparing the command of the motor operation and. temp., utilizing the set data of the operation display part, a temp. control part 37 for cooling the mold, a servo control part 39 to control the operation of the motor 11, a pressing force detecting part 41, a position detecting part 43, a temp. detecting part 45 and a program executing part 47 for successively preparing the glass forming action set by the operation display part 33 according to the program of the storage part 35.
