PURPOSE: To provide the titled controller for a heat pump capable of minimizing energy for air conditioning, by a method wherein a value of a hot water temperature, previously set to control a capacity of a heat pump, is varied so that a summed total of energies consumed in a heat pump and a transportation system is minimized in a range, in which an air conditioner can handle a load, taking said energies into consideration.
CONSTITUTION: A controller 7 consists of a computation part 8 for computing a consumption energy of a heat pump 1, a computation part 9 for computing a consumption energy in a transporting system, such as water feed pump at an air conditioner side, a fan, etc., a computation part 10 for computing a set value of a hot water temperature, and a controller part 11 for controlling a regulting valve 4 for a fuel feed quantity. The computer part 8 computes a consumption energy WR of the heat pump 1: the computer part 9 computes a consumption energy WA of a transporting system; and the computer part 10 computes a summed total WS of the consumption energy WR and a consumption energy WA of the transporting system. The control part 11 regultes the resulating valve 4 for the fuel feed quantity so that a deviation between a set value of a hot water temperature from the computer part 10 and a hot water temperature from a detector 5 for hot water temperature attains zero value. A hot water temperature, at which the summed total WS of the consumption energies can attain a minimum, is computed as a set value of a hot water temperature to control the volume of the heat pump.
