To provide a controller of a hybrid vehicle which can generally improve a fuel consumption, a power and steering stability by controlling a longitudinal distribution at turning.
The controller of the hybrid vehicle includes an electric motor M1 which drives one of front and rear wheels by first drive sources E, M2, M4 and the other of the front and rear wheels by a second drive source M1 so that the second drive source M1 is operated by the electric energy stored in an electric storage unit 7 and a kinetic energy is recovered and charged in the electric storage unit 7 at the vehicle deceleration. The controller of the hybrid vehicle further includes a decelerating state detecting means 25 for detecting the decelerating state of the vehicle, and turning state detecting means 24, 26 for detecting the turning state of the vehicle. The amount of regeneration of the motor M1 is calculated according to the turning state detected by the turning state detecting means 24, 26, and the motor M1 is controlled according to the amount of the regeneration.
