Abstract:
To provide a controller for a hybrid vehicle capable of improving startability of a hybrid vehicle, traveling in a series mode, in re-acceleration after turning off the accelerator pedal.SOLUTION: A controller for a hybrid vehicle comprises: acceleration operation detection means 11 for detecting an accelerator pedal being turned ON or OFF; vehicle speed detection means 12 for detecting a vehicle speed of the hybrid vehicle; and rotation control means 14 for setting a lower-limit value of a rotating speed of an engine 2 when it is detected that the accelerator pedal is OFF in a series mode in which an engine 2 is used as a power source for a generator. The rotation control means 14 sets the lower-limit value according to the vehicle speed, and also sets the lower-limit value above the lowest rotating speed of the engine 2 within a partial range of the vehicle speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
