Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a hybrid vehicle which can avoid torque shocks, while maintaining satisfactory operation.
SOLUTION: A required output MOTORPOWER of a motor 3 is calculated according to a target drive power of a vehicle. A required output change DMPOWER (=MOTORPOWER-MOTORPOWER(n-1)), which is a deviation between the previous value of the required output MOTORPOWER and the present value of the required output MOTORPOWER, is calculated (step S41). A reference output change value RMPOWER is calculated, according to the required output change DMPOWER and the speed ratio of a speed changer (step S42). If &verbar DMPOWER&verbar >&verbar RMPOWER&verbar , by adding the reference output change RMPOWER to the previous required output MOTORPOWER, to calculate the present required output MOTORPOWER (steps S43 and S44).
