Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a hybrid vehicle which can obtain a sense of acceleration desired by a driver by accurately realizing a target drive torque even when a vehicle speed is changed during gear shifting.
SOLUTION: The controller of the hybrid vehicle includes a Ravigneaux type planetary gear unit 2, a first motor generator MG1 and a second motor generator MG2. The controller further includes a target drive force generating means 20 for calculating a target drive power P0* and a target drive torque T0* from the detected values or the estimated values of a vehicle speed VSP and an accelerator travel AP, a target value generating means 21 for calculating a target engine rotational speed ωE* from the target drive power P0*, and a target torque arithmetic means for setting the target values T1*, T2* and TE* of first and second motor torques T1, T2 and the engine torque TE from any two rotational speed change rates of Ravigneaux type planetary gear unit rotary elements, the target engine rotational speed ωE*, the engine rotational speed ωE, the target drive power P0* and the target drive torque T0* so as not to generate the excess or the insufficiency of the drive torque to the target drive torque T0* and to reduce the deviations of the engine rotational speed ωE from the target engine rotational speed ωE*.
