Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overcharge and overdeceleration and get the amount of regeneration efficiently in the case of charging a high-voltage battery and a low-voltage battery for electric load mounted on a car by a motor generator at decelerating operation, in a hybrid vehicle which is equipped with an engine and a motor generator using a high-voltage battery as its power source.
SOLUTION: This controller for a hybrid vehicle computes an objective charge current according to the charge state of the high-voltage battery by an objective charge current computation means 23, regulates it by the first limiter means 24 which has a certain limiter value, detects an electric load current to electric load mounted on a car by an electric load current detection means 27, adds up the above objective charge current and the above electric load current by objective generated current computation means 28 and 30 thereby computing the objective generated current by the motor generator 2, and regulates it with the second limiter means 31 which has a limiter value geared to the ON/OFF of electric load (for example, an air conditioner) mounted on a car.
