Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet requirement on NVH, fuel economy, emission and so on and further reduce the frequency of use of an electric motor and power consumption with respect to a hybrid vehicle, wherein torque assist control by the electric motor is exercised when the amount of accelerator operation is increased.
SOLUTION: On condition that the increment (θAC2-θAC1) in the amount of accelerator operation QAC is equal to or above a specified value α and the increase rate dθac/dt is equal to or above a specified value # b (SA4, SA5), assist control by a motor generator is exercised (SA7-SA8). Increase correction by fuel injection control is limited. Further, insufficiency of torque due to the limited increase correction may be compensated for by assist control from the motor generator.
