Abstract:

To realize optimum control of an input current in an induction motor when started by avoiding abrupt drop of a torque due to crawling and satisfying necessary conditions of torque characteristics set even when a safety factor is low.

The controller for the induction motor comprises a preprocessing unit 1, an analytical data storing unit 2, an analyzer 3, an optimizing arithmetic unit 5, an optimized data storing unit 6, and an input current controller 7. The unit 1 and the analyzer 3 are connected to the analyzer 3 through the unit 2 to constitute a simulation system 4. The unit 2 has an electromagnetic field analyzing unit 31 for analyzing the electromagnetic field of the electromagnetic mechanism of an electromagnetic driver, and a control analyzing unit 32 for analyzing the control of a control unit of an electromagnetic driver. The units 31, 32 have independent constitutions and are connected to one another to realize a coupled analysis. The optimized data is calculated with the arithmetic unit based on the analyzed result of the system, and the motor is controlled by the controller.
