Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shift easily a mobile part to a desired position and to control an industrial machine at a high speed by using a pressure sensor which increases and decreases its output in response to the pressure obtained by an external operation and controlling the speed of the mobile part by the output signal of said pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A speed control button 30 is provided on a teaching operation panel of a controller for an industrial machine (robot) 3 in addition to various operation buttons and a pilot lamp. The button 30 consists of a pressure sensor 30a, an A/D conversion part 30b and a transmission/reception interface 30c. An electric signal is produced from the sensor 30a in proportion to the pressure given from a teaching operator and then converted into a digital signal. This digital signal is stored in a button data memory 32. Then a servo CPU23 is controlled by a CPU20 as well as the output signal of the sensor 30a stored in the memory 32. Thus the mobile part of the machine 3 is shifted at a high or low speed by the control of the CPU23. In such a way, the machine 3 can be shifted to its desired position at a high speed and with high accuracy.
