To provide a controller installation structure which enables an air-conditioning machine to be normally operated and has usability even when installed apart from a kitchen.
A controller 2, which can control operation of an air-conditioning machine 3 on the basis of temperature and humidity inside a room 10 to be detected by a temperature and humidity sensor, is installed on a wall surface 17 close to an entrance 16 positioned apart from a kitchen 13 in the room 10 which incorporates functions of a lounge 11, a dining room 12 and the kitchen 13 thereinto. With the controller 2, the air-conditioning machine can be normally operated. The controller 2 also has usability even when the same is installed apart from the kitchen because the same comes in plain sight of a resident and can be operated, for example, by the resident who is on the way to the entrance.
