Abstract:
To provide a controller for an internal combustion engine of a vehicle capable of suppressing vibrations and noises caused by gear striking and enhancing the fuel economy.
The controller executes a speed incremental control whereby the rotating speed of the engine is raised (S90) on condition that the state in which the rotating speed change width of a manual transmission is greater than the prescribed value (S50) has lasted for prescribed time T1 or more (S60) when the manual transmission is in the neutral position (S20) and a clutch is in engagement (S30).
