Abstract:

To provide a controller of an internal combustion engine, in which a negative pressure can be controlled so that a physical quantity changing corresponding to an operating condition becomes a target value by taking the change in the negative pressure supplied to the negative actuator into consideration.

The controller is provided with an electric vacuum pump 81 for supplying the negative pressure to a movable vane actuator 23, an EVRV 82 for controlling the negative pressure supplied from the electric vacuum pump 81 into the movable vane actuator 23 by the difference between a target suction air quantity, and an actual suction air quantity of the suction air quantity and a negative sensor 85. When it is judged with the negative sensor 85 that the negative pressure between the electric vacuum pump 81 and the EVRV 82 changes, the motion of the EVRV 82 is adjusted and the movable vane actuator 23 is driven so that the negative pressure supplied into the movable vane actuator 23 is not changed by the difference in the negative pressure.
