Abstract:
To provide a controller of an internal combustion engine capable of securely realizing the premature warm-up of a catalyst device.
In this controller of the internal combustion engine for converging an engine rotational speed increased in starting the engine to a target rotational speed by a feedback retard-angle control of an ignition timing, when the ignition timing I at which the engine rotational speed is converged to the target rotational speed is on the advance-angle side of a target ignition timing IT (step 104), the ignition timing is retarded to the target ignition timing (step 106) and an intake air is increased (step 107).
