Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an internal combustion engine capable of performing control applying a throttle opening learning value, or fail-safe of suction amount detection means, within a continuous throttle opening learning completion range.SOLUTION: A controller of an internal combustion engine is configured to: calculate a throttle opening learning value, based on an actual effective opening area calculated with a suction amount and actual throttle opening to variation in throttle devices; calculate a throttle opening learning completion range indicating a region where throttle opening learning is completed, based on an effective opening area after correction with the throttle opening leaning and a deviation state of the actual effective opening area; and thereby perform control applying the throttle opening learning value or fail-safe of suction amount detection means within a continuous throttle opening learning completion range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
