Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing occurrence of knocking and further improving fuel economy.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment of this invention, an engine system 1 has a hot response delay calculation unit 42 configured to calculate a hot air response delay time DH, and a switching determination unit 43 configured to, after warming-up, determine whether air to be introduced into a suction passage 12 is switched from cold air to hot air on the basis of the hot air response delay time DH. The suction selector valve 21 is configured to switch air to be introduced into the suction passage 12 from cold air to hot air, or keep cold air, based on the determination result of the switching determination unit 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
