Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the derivability in entering into economy running by setting an accelerator pedal control input trigger and by attaching a function which judges the economy running entering by the trigger, to a control means in a device which automatically stops the internal combustion engine, when the economy running conditions are satisfied.
SOLUTION: When an economy running switch out of various kinds of input signals 14 is turned on in traveling of a vehicle by an economy running controller 12 for a control device 10, the economy running prohibition conditions are not satisfied, and it is shifted to a judgment whether the economy running conditions are under satisfying or not. When the accelerator pedal control input AC is judged to be gradually and continuously reduced, the accelerator pedal control input trigger is set. Secondly, the accelerator pedal control input and the accelerator pedal control input trigger are compared with each other and when the accelerator pedal control input is less than the accelerator pedal control input trigger, it is judged that the economy running conditions are satisfied. This constitution can suppress the shock in entering into the economy running and improve derivability.
