PURPOSE: To launch a missile even in a strong wind without colliding with a shooting facility housing by so controlling that an attitude angle of the missile becomes a target value and a drift in a horizontal direction becomes '0' when it is launched in a vertical direction.
CONSTITUTION: An inertia sensor 02 outputs increments in an attitude angle and a horizontal speed. The attitude angle θ is calculated and so controlled as to become a predetermined target value. A drift (d), i.e., a horizontal distance A from a launching vertical direction L is calculated by a distance calculator 7. A horizontal speed is calculated by a speed calculator 9. Further, an integrated value of the horizontal distance is calculated by an integrating calculator 5. They are amplified by predetermined gains KVZ, KZ, KZ1) to become a steering signal 11s of a PDI control. An engine is steered by this signal, and so maintained that the drift (d) becomes '0'. Thus, a drift amount to a downstream of a wind is reduced. Accordingly, there is no fear of colliding with a shooting facility housing even in a strong wind, and a missile can be launched.
