Abstract:
To provide a controller capable of operation at optimized acceleration and deceleration rates in a process line where a plurality of motors are used.SOLUTION: A controller according to an embodiment includes: an input part which inputs information related to respective rotation speeds, torques, roll diameters, target speeds, motor loads, and motor rated specifications of a plurality of motors; a calculation part which respectively calculates acceleration times and deceleration times for the plurality of motors on the basis of the information related to the rotation speeds, the torques, the roll diameters, the target speeds, the motor loads, and the motor rated specifications; an acceleration rate determination part which extracts a maximum value from among the acceleration times respectively calculated for the plurality of motors and determines the maximum value of the acceleration time as an acceleration rate and outputs the maximum value; and a deceleration rate determination part which extracts a maximum value from among the deceleration times respectively calculated for the plurality of motors and determines the maximum value of the deceleration time as a deceleration rate and outputs the maximum value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
