PURPOSE: To obtain a paper feeding controller capable of shortening the time of paper feeding by using a system in which when papers are orderly fed and line feed command comes continuously within a certain time period, the corresponding amount of line feeding is practised at one time.

CONSTITUTION: Data and command are received by a receiver, and it is judged whether they are line feed commands. As far as the line feed command continues, the line feeding amounts are added by a line feed amount adder. When the command received is out of the line feed command, a line feed amount adderreleasing means is selected to stop the addition operation by the line feed amount adder. The line feeding amounts so far added are set out as a releasing output to a paper feeding means, and paper feeding corresponding to the line feeding amounts is practised at one time. Stopping the releasing of addition operation by the line feed amount adder is made by a timer.
