Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a controller for plant equipment having easy maintenance at low cost and with high reliability by separating an expert system which decides the accident control measures from a duplicate system of a DDC performing high-speed control and a 1st arithmetic unit. CONSTITUTION:An expert system 20 is periodically started and carries out the reasoning arithmetic by a reasoning mechanism 27 based on a knowledge base file 24 with input of operation target data 3 and the present operation data 4 to decide the control measures to a presumed accident stored in a presumed accident file 25 with low-spped arithmetic. While a duplicate system contains an arithmetic unit 1 and a DDC 29 which performs the real time control based normally on the data 4 or on the countermeasure processing data and the accident data 5 stored in correctors 12 and 22 at the time of accident after input of both data 4 and 5. Thus the system 20 is applied as a host system to increase operability and therefore a proper operation is secured despite a trouble of either one of two arithmetic units 1 and 2 as long as the other side of these arithmetic units is nondefective.
