Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the collision between unmanned carriers without stopping unnecessarily either one of both carriers when they are operated opposite to each other by deciding a collision avoiding route for each of those carriers driven opposite to each other and performing the control so that the carriers are driven on each decided route. CONSTITUTION:The driving speed of one of two unmanned carriers driven opposite to each other is detected by a driving speed detecting means 4. Then the relative distance and relative speed are detected by the relative distance/ speed detecting means 1-3 to the opposite carrier. At the same time, the carrying priority is informed from the opposite carrier by a carrying priority informing means 5. Then a collision avoiding route is decided by an avoiding route deciding means 6 based on said relative distance and speed, the driving speed and the carrying priority. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the collision between the carriers without stopping unnecessarily either one of both carriers in case plural carriers are driven opposite to each other on a single track.
