PURPOSE: To remove error in setting operation by changing over, by means of a monitor switch capable of external control, the current of a pump/motor at an indication device so as to indicate.

CONSTITUTION: An indication device 34 for a pump/motor has photodiodes 35aW35d and is connected to the driving part 36 inside a micro-computer 11. The driving part 36 selectively lights up, on the current signal of the motor, each photodiode 35aW35d according to the output of the micro-computer 11 at the indication device 34 and differently indicates each abnormal condition such as slip, shut-off operation and others. Accordingly erroneous operation in setting the standard value for excessive current can be checked.
