Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control the quantity and the temperature of water with one device, by receiving a signal of a voltage detector connected to a light emitting element and a current detector connected to a photodetector to control a water supply device and a heating device. CONSTITUTION:When a float 2 rises to come between a light emitting element 3 and a photodetector 4, light is intercepted, and the element 4 does not flow a current. A current detector 6 reports it to a controlling part 7, and therefore, the solenoid valve of a water supply device 8 is operated to stop water. Simultaneously, the controlling part 7 operates the solenoid valve of a heating device 9 to ignite the device 9 and heats water in a bathtub. When the temperature of water rises by heating, the temperature of the element 3 rises, and a voltage which is changed in accordance with its temperature coefficient is sent to a voltage detector 5. The detector 5 incorporates a differential amplifier and a standard light emitting diode, and the differential voltage between the element 3 in water and this diode is measured and is transmitted to the controlling part 7. When the differential voltage reaches a prescribed value, the controlling part 7 operates the solenoid valve to stop the heating device.
