Abstract:
To reduce time delay until reaction force is transmitted to a throttle grip when reaction force is applied, while reducing influence on operability at the time when the reaction force is not required.SOLUTION: A controller 40 of a reaction force application device 100 comprises a control mode switching unit 50 and a command generation unit 60. The control mode switching unit 50 switches a control mode of the reaction force application device 100 between a reaction force transmission mode and a reaction force transmission cutoff mode in which transmission of a reaction force to a throttle grip 10 is cut off. The command generation unit 60 generates a control command for an actuator 302 so that a rotary plate 210 interlocks with a throttle plate 110 while maintaining a gap between an engagement part 112 and a reaction force application portion 212, based on a first signal S1 indicating an angular position of the throttle plate 110 and a second signal S2 indicating an angular position of the actuator 302, in the reaction force transmission blocking mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
