Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a refrigeration cycle capable of reducing impact sound at the time of switching a four-way valve, before and after defrosting operation during heating operation in a heating/cooling heat pump air conditioner using a nonazetoropic mixture refrigerant.
SOLUTION: A refrigerant temperature detecting means 6 for detecting refrigerant temperature Te at a heating-time inlet part of an outdoor heat exchanger 3 constituting a refrigeration cycle is provided. A computer 7 for controlling overall operation interrupts operation of a compressor 1 for a specified period of time when frosting of the outdoor heat exchanger 3 is judged, on the basis of the refrigerant temperature Te reaching a specified temperature Ta. After an elapse of a specified period of time, a four-way valve 2 is switched to a cooling side, and the compressor 1 is operated at a defrosting operation frequency so as to transfer the operation to a defrosting operation. When heating operation is restored from cooling operation, operation is interrupted for a specified period of time before the four-way valve 2 is switched to a heating side, and the compressor 1 is operated at a heating operation frequency so as to transfer to heating operation.
