Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly execute the welding operation without being affected by two kinds of data mutually by allowing the controller to provide the commu nication line of a device controlling opening and closing of the welding power and the communication line of the character data of a program or monitor, etc., independently of each other.
CONSTITUTION: This controller is provided with a base unit 2 for connecting itself to a welding power source 6 and a welding transformer 7, a contact unit 3 for controlling switching of the energizing of large electric current, and a timer unit 4 for controlling pressurizing force and the pressurization operating time by a pressurizing cylinder, a current value flowing to the work and the energizing time, etc. The timer unit 4 includes a communication function circuit 16 such as a sequencer and computer as an outside device. In the case of using a multi-spot welding machine used in parallel of plural stands of the controllers except an option unit 5, two kinds of communication lines can be housed in one communication cable, and maintenance property can be improved.
