Abstract:

To provide a controller of a rotation speed display mechanism for a vehicle, having proper responsiveness and high reliability.

A meter ECU (electronic control unit) executes a program, comprising a step (S100) of detecting an engine rotation speed Ne, a step (S110) of calculating time change rate ΔNe of Ne, a step (S120) of calculating the initial delay correction term Nes using f(ΔNe), a step (S130) of calculating the steady delay correction term Nes using g(ΔNe), a step (S140) of detecting the accelerator pedal opening, a step (S160) of calculating, as Ne+Nes+Net, the indication Ne which is the indication value to a tachometer, when there is no accelerator pedal opening variation ("NO" in S150), and a step (S170) of outputting the indication Ne to the tachometer.
